Ok guys I don’t know any details on DDG, I’m just seeing a lot of tech types posting that it’s no longer reliable like it used to be, or something got bought out…? I honestly don’t know anything except that my search results have become frustratingly bad.
With Google, besides the AI stuff, they’re now withholding California news results from Californians bc the state wants them to compensate the media companies that create the content they’re using, and Google doesn’t want to pay. So “just Google it” means jack shit now, at least for us.
