I guess my optimistic view is that if you are a passionate artisan looking to build a business. In the past that business needs to outpace inflation otherwise game over long-term. However, if your business adopts Bitcoin, then as long as you can run a profit and hold that in Bitcoin you have an asset that will massively out perform anything you can do. Therefore, you should be able to continue running your business without having to grow too fast as you are no longer trying to outpace the money printer. This may be a bit utopian, but my hope is that by putting Bitcoin on my small business in the long-term it will mean I can keep doing what I love.
quoting note1tn0…esfgThe whole sector has been gutted. So many hopes and dreams die on the hospitality and retail pile.
I think that technology has also played a part with more online shopping and getting take aways at home. But the high tax costs, hard to find decent staff, energy costs etc have made it very hard to operate. It’s always been a low margin sector mainly run by passionate people who are not solely doing it for the money. But when it gets too hard sadly people throw the towel in. So far there has been enough people with a dream to fill the space but they are becoming less and less and people see it’s an uphill battle the whole time.
