It looks like it but I don’t know if it is a good thing for Clubs or Players yet.
The player doesn’t have leverage for more money on long contracts or more easily leaving the club.
Clubs don’t have an easier way to cut a player or a cheap way to move on.
It seems like lose lose unless the player is a club legend but even then it can go either way.
