Why are those who’ve got great wealth and use it to the detriment of the masses come to be regarded as somehow ‘above’ us in many respects? Surely their selfish acts mark them out as deeply flawed and therefore lacking and below the vast majority of us on many meaningful levels. If you simply regard their financial wealth and possessions as a measure of their ‘greatness’ you’re as deluded as they are.
