Small extract of the book Im writing right now.
part of the "Let down / Support" Hamster wheel chapter.
...being jammed up on the left side of the hamster wheel program, it is actually safe to be a let down.
Similar on the right, Your drive to be right & valuable is immense, however, at some point your going to spin to the other side & you will feel that deep shame. Now the right sided dominant types will fight that, & you will use that anger that hides the shame, to show them who's the boss, you will use that as fuel to get revenge.
The magic ingredient in this defiant behaviour is trauma. The stronger the trauma the more likely you will have the metal to become a world champion.
Watch Jon Jones, UFC best of all time, talking to Joe Rogan about his addictions & then when Joe mentions people, in a way, shaming him (let down), telling him to get his shit together (support) , you see this classic behaviour, Im going to show them, rationalising his own behaviour by comparing it to others worse behaviour.
