We have to hope that a large proportion of the current support for Reform is a protest vote rather than a sign of genuine far right convictions. Labour has to find a way to pull those people back from the brink of fascism, without following the Tories down the road of endless appeasement. Otherwise the next UK election could look like the current French elections.
