Only a genealogist would try to figure out if her maternal grandfather who was a Boy Scout Scoutmaster for troops in Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau Co, NY in the 1920s-1950s, ever took any of his troops up to the Boy Scout camps established by the Boy Scout Foundation of Greater New York in Sullivan County in the 1920s - because the land for the Boy Scout camps is very close to - if not includes - land owned by her 4th great grandfather son in the early-mid 1800s 🙂
