Nah. Look back to plan forward. The only mediums that have so far stood the test of time are pottery, stone carvings, and cave drawings.
The world is entirely too fragile electrically to rely upon anything electronic to store valuable data... Not to mention Moore's Law obsoleting everything we use today within a decade or two.
