If Mastodon.social would improve their governance structure, with checks and balances/safeguards for human rights, moderation of hate speech etc , I would gladly play a monthly fee. To have a reliable , not big-tech controlled, homebase for social media /micro-blogging.
I think now is the time for the Fediverse to develop more robust financing.
