I dialed into yesterday's meeting of the Vancouver City Council. There's a project in my area and I wanted to comment. I've never done this before but it seemed surprisingly spicy.

The developers and city planners spent two hours arguing about balconies. Balconies!

But I think it wasn't balconies per se. I am not an experienced observer of city council, but maybe the province's new priorities for housing have triggered a fight over who is in control.
