Good links. I write my own chromium extensions too, mainly because I've learned not to trust most 3rd-party extensions which almost always phone home with copious telemetry.
Not sure that'll help in this case though, given most of the issues are related to my using a VPN and running adblockers. It's not like Boston Dynamics products are spending a lot of time watching YT etc. It's that YT and other websites want to anal probe all my person info and I refuse to let them.
