I'm seeing some good arguments for and against federating with #Meta - and I think both sides are right. It will be a boost for the #Fediverse. It will be bad for the Fediverse. It will make it simpler for people to join up. It will also add all the people some of us stopped using Meta products because of. Currently I'm leaning towards Meta being a net negative. Growth should not be a goal in and of itself. The Fediverse is generally awesome because people ease into it rather than rage into it.
