Me to Spoonflower Help:
Hi there,
Without notifying me, Spoonflower re-set the default fabric of www.spoonflower.com/designs/18043106 from "cotton spandex jersey", which I painstakingly made sure was the default setting, to "petal signature cotton." Now a guest customer is going to be very disappointed, and I have no way of contacting her. I have no idea how many people have ordered the wrong fabric due to Spoonflower's re-setting of this. Can you please help these customers before they lose a lot of money, are disappointed, and never order from you again?
I have since corrected the settings (which, I emphasize, were correct before Spoonflower re-set them without notifying me) and even changed the TITLE to warn customers not to order the wrong thing, in case Spoonflower does this again.
Thanks,
--Nina
Spoonflower Help:
Thank you for using Spoonflower! Customers are welcome to purchase any design on any product. The 'default fabric' will vary depending on the user. We suggest putting your recommendations into the site in the title and description area. Though again, customers can order any design on any fabric of their choosing. I hope that helps, but if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask!
Best Regards, -Erin Spoonflower
Me to Spoonflower:
Hi Erin,
May I please at least have contact information for the "guest" customers who I am 99% certain DID NOT want to order the type of fabric they ended up with? They are guaranteed to be disappointed and angry with me, even though the fault is Spoonflower's. Please, this is a big mistake, the fabric is for gloves, it needs to stretch. I put the fabric type in the description but it's easily overlooked, and like I wrote before, I set it to the correct default but Spoonflower changed it back without notifying me. I wouldn't have contacted support if I didn't think this was a real problem. Please address it.
Thanks,
