Lately I've been trying to untangle WHY I think explanations like cognitive load in software development are insufficient for many conversations in which they are invoked (often far outside the original intentions of the original writer!), although moving in the right direction in terms of "considering the science of human problem-solving as a part of software development" on which I am certainly well allied/hope to be a part of :)
