I agree with the last point that small indieweb is sort of isolationist, but that's where the idea of "host locally, share everywhere else" comes into play. But then again, finding a safe "anywhere else" can be a problem.
Sigh, all in all, I feel that the post (which i do find very good and insightful), sums up the age-old problem of "societal problems cannot be solved with technology"
