I got some very interesting results from Meshtastic range testing today. I got ACKs to messages that nobody in the channel received!
I know this because there are two people in the channel and I sat down with that person when I got home to review the test results.
My best guess is that some random person that I don't know received the packets and retra smitted them. This person might be in the default chanmel of LongFast, but it doesn't make any sense to have have an acknowledgement come from someone not in the channel.
I don't want to remove LongFast, because if I ever find anyone else, it'd be fun to chat with them, but I also don't want that channel to pollute my other channels with fake ACKs.
