It's a huge topic. Like an NFT chain could easily be used for Real Estate titles. But usually a title is "pinned" to an ID owner of some sort.
Now, that doesn't necessarily need to be the case, since he who holds it, owns it. Bitcoin keys aren't registered to an identified owner. The one with the keys is the owner. But it's slightly different with RE regarding security, squatting, and, depending on government structure, taxation.
(I argue property taxes are the ONLY taxes that should reasonably exist. Not calculated from land value though. Story for another time.)
