I've made some progress with the shooting mechanics.
I've realized I'll have to figure out the networking aspects of shooting before I can truly test anything seriously.
Well - the authoritative server will have to do collision checks and decide where every shot ultimately landed and what were the consequences. Though at first I'll try a no-op implementation that just says "yes" to anything the client requests. I think.
This is going to be a really interesting part of the development for sure...
