I broke down and went to REI and bought a bear can this evening. As a concession to myself, only the smallest one, the BV425. I brought 2 days of food to test and it fits with some room to spare. Finally figured out the national park entrance pass and permit situation. Bought an annual entrance pass and booked a couple permits. Looks like I’m going to Olympic National Park this weekend!
