Looks neat, but I prefer hardware options when pluasable. (8-bit do keyboard in my case)
But I'm a DWM guy so... I don't use gnome or Wayland.
That said, when I try wayland, I use Plasma, which seems to have solid built in maping support.
So yea, I'm not helpful.
