This shouldn't even be a debate, but since it is, all vacations should be CANCELED. The Senate isn't due back until 5/30, and now the House can leave for the holiday weekend. Yeah, they can return with 24 hrs' notice, yada yada. But it will take a couple of days to get this through both chambers. It's now May 25. Vacations should be off the table until this is resolved.
