I didn't get to Detroit often. I was out of Michigan in 1986, so back then it was a very different place. I do remember enjoying Greek Town. An annual festival there if I remember correctly.
I did hit tons of concerts in the outskirts tho, anyone with a hit in the 80s and came to Michigan I saw. Mostly Pontiac. Maybe one or two closer to main Detroit. And a lot of them at an outdoor revenue in the area that I can't remember it's name.
Madonna Michael Jackson Cyndi Lauper Motley Crue Def Leppard Whitesnake and so many more. Those were some wild times. Ha!
