Yeah, I figured I might get more even heating if I scooped them out and mashed them first.
Three minutes was maybe a mite too little, the middles were a touch on the cook side although the bottom skin of the first half I ate was a bit too hot. But AIUI microwaves are notorious for that sort of thing.
