A few days ago, I learned that a new book from Riccardo Olocco is coming out! You might know him for his excellent old type photos, his articles, or his typefaces. But he’s written an in-depth history of Nicolas Jenson’s Roman, which I think is about to become the standard work on the subject. You can pre-order the book already. I hear that authors really, really like that sort of thing.
