🇪🇺 The European Union has a problem. It so badly needs to project itself around the world and also to its own citizens as a major player on the world stage, with a solid ‘foreign policy’ and the means to act upon it, whereas in reality the superpowers of the world – U.S., Russia, China – don’t take it seriously.
The very fact that Trump is able to set up peace talks with Putin and bypass the EU altogether shows how ineffective it is.
