I have upgraded my flagship rig to something a lot more extensible. I’m finally running full frame!
It’s an older A7ii, but it’s only had 450 shutter releases so it’s basically brand new. The guy I got it from almost never used it.
Also that lens I’ve got on it is my old Pentax-M 50mm f/1.2, borrowed from my k1000. This is the lens I started my photography work on and now I can really take advantage of it!
This is really exciting for me, I’ve been using Micro Four Thirds for quite a while now and I’ve felt pretty limited by the hardware I’ve used (mostly midrange consumer cameras) and how those cameras handled anything but ideal lighting. This is a pretty big bump in resolution, 16 to 24 megapixels, but it’s a HUGE bump in sensor size! Twice as big!
I’ve been playing around with it the last few days and I’ve definitely got a lot to learn about it but man I can tell I’m going to have some fun with this
