Several months ago I bought a demo unit of a burson conductor 3R. It's an unusual design that uses entirely discrete op amps. Over the months I have been not enjoying it. I don't know how to describe it. the dac was good but it just sounded wrong. It's a bit to gainy, it's hard to describe
I've connected my cavalli hybrid tube amp I used to use. It certainly sounds more syrupy and I think this is better for work.
