I saw Kiki’s as a kid but nothing else. My wife intro’d me to Totoro when we were 20, and I fell in love with it. Then Mononoke, Spirited Away, and so on. Howl’s Moving Castle was delicious (but the original book is even better). I just watched The Boy and the Heron in February, and it brought a tear to my eye more than once. I felt that one in my chest fr.
They’re some of the greatest works of art (and unquestionably #ProofOfWork) of the 20th-21st centuries 🫂
