Good advice, this. I'm two decades happily married, but cannot claim that I had the right judgment or foresight -- just dumb luck in some ways. Very Westernized waifu.
People don't understand the deep differences, and I guarantee you, aren't prepared to navigate them. Even if your wife is properly attuned, there's no guarantee her family is, and there is no assuring that you will have countervailng forces that will work.
