I don't understand why some people work so hard on the "People with XY chromosomes can absolutely look like women on a cosmetic level!" workaround.
The topic is whether or not genetic males should compete with women in sports and that should not be contingent on any way upon feelings or self perception. It's about sports being safe and fair for WOMEN, not bending reality into pretzels to shield the feelings of a profoundly tiny percentage of intersex people who are born XY and present (supposedly) unambiguously female.
And it's still blatantly sexist to label everyone as either "male" or "non-male" and dump intersex men into women's categories due to their lack of traditional male genitals.
