Those who know me know I am quite into security and messaging protocols. In that light, I wanted to share my threat mode (who are you defending against) and it may be surprising.

#1 is problably controversial but even if you aren't a libertarian like me, it is safer to put as little data in the hand of governement as you can manage. It can and will be used against you at some point.
