they have to be battery powered.

i want to take the speaker out in the yard, and leave the music playing device in the house.

the device is fragile, doesn't do well in the heat, and bluetooth is too weak to work.

but wifi works.

maybe i'm so unusual in wanting the distance between the music source and the speaker.
