When I first moved to the United States, both parties were promising "single payer medicine"; now neither of them talks about it. The ACA was a small improvement, but a bandaid on a sucking chest wound; America still has the most expensive healthcare system in the world, with some of the worst outcomes.

Look. Trump winning would be a catastrophe, and at this point, it seems likely. Focus on that.
