Julie Overman on Nostr: ...
I made some yogurt yesterday. I use a small crockpot. About two hours on high gets the milk to 180°. Then turn it off and cool to 110-115°. Turn the oven on keep warm for a few minutes while the milk is cooling, don’t leave it on though. Add the starter to the milk, wrap the whole crock in a towel and stick it in the oven until the next morning. Then remove it and place the crock in the refrigerator to set. This is a brand new batch with store bought yogurt, as I recently had a fridge die.
