Many of the customs of the fediverse are counteracting its attraction for new comers. If we don't seriously start taking our tone policing and reply guy habits a step back I don't know what to say other then ooof. This place needs to feel fun and engaging and that takes a collective effort of all 11 million user accounts to achieve. Be nice to a stranger today!
