A bit under 24 hours since I setup my #bambulabs AMS. Here are my first impressions.
Setup was fairly simple, pretty much just plugging in a few plugs, and connecting some tubes.
Inserting new filaments is not terribly intuitive, but once you get used it to it, it's easy enough.
I've found that the AMS doesn't play as well as I would like with some third party filaments. I had to just give up on one roll because it kept getting stuck. It comes with a few spare Bambu spools, but I don't want to have to wind a spool everytime I change filament.
Thankfully, MOST of my third party spools work, it's just a few specific ones where the cardboard was bent, so I just have to take a bit better care of my spools I think.
Jams and issues are fairly common so far, but getting less so as time wears on, leading me to think it's just user error.
Overall, first impressions aren't as positive as with the P1P itself, but the quality of the prints is A+
