IMHO nowadays neuro publishing pace for ally subfields specialization became impossible to followup, even for biggest institutions with dedicated resources on daily clipping & classification.
In subfields researchers pushing for theories/technologies/.../pathways have too many new papers per week, that can't get up-to-date within subfield different theories/technologies/.../pathways separately taught/trained/.../etc.
Then a voting site would go not by readership, but metrics?
