Plus I'm not a local. Not here and not anywhere. I was an oil brat growing up and we moved every 2-4 years. "Four more years, all new people."
So I don't really have a developed sense of "home."
I do sprinkle in details I've picked up along the way, in passing, but it's always from an outsider's perspective.
