Crestfallen warrior in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls
Saulden in DS2, Hawkwood in DS3 and to an extent Thops in Elden Ring fill the same role. Although I misspoke a bit, Hawkwood stands out as the one who was voiced by someone else.
Basically they decided he was always a nigger when Bluepoint(sony) said so with the remake.
