My 7yo will invent words so confidently that he sometimes gets away with it. Today he flew too high when he casually dropped “halgbean.” I said, “What?!” And he just straight faced goes, “Yeah, you know, the hair between your beard and the hair on top of your head… the halgbean.” Sorry sideburns, you had a good run but it seems you’ve been replaced in this house.
