Wow! You got lucky there especially with the bale being open and the low lb test line on. A great story to share though! 😊
I’ve caught my share of large walleye and a few nice lake trout. The majority of the walleye I have caught are typically during the summer months or opening weekend on May 2-4. Luckily I still get out fishing but not at all like I used to.
