People in the advertising industry like to say "nobody likes ads until they're trying to find a specific product."
And for the last 5-7 years that just hasn't been true for me.
I hate ads all the time. If I'm looking for something to fill a gap in a need I have I always prioritize word-of-mouth recommendations.
