#PennedPossibilities 448 — Are there any physical health or mental health issues that run in your MC’s family? (I.e. heart disease, depression, etc.)

The devil-girl is #autistic, though her mother was much more so. Both successful people. I am currently depicting the MC looking back a decade ago when she froze and lost her mask, and went from appearing a typical pre-teen to not so much typical, showing her going through learning to understand people and controlling her emotions. Doing the same as I did, as her author is #actuallyautistic. Between her as the hero, and her mother is distance but loving best she can, I get a chance to talk about autistics as simply people with different learning curves in a society that doesn't differentiate ways of thinking, looking, or loving as a particularly more or less normal. Nobody gets the chance to isolate others with the normalcy card.
