Maybe voters are thinking critically and supporting Dems more now because they saw how a decent bipartisan immigration bill was going to pass until Trump convinced the GOP to abandon it. It's less about vibes than undecideds are recognizing that on balance, one party is at least slightly more interested in working across the aisle to get something done that isn't exactly what they'd prefer, while the other party is more focused on serving the selfish interests of one man.
