One year ago today I was one of 862 people laid off at Redfin.
I'm still angry about it & I'm disappointed to see the direction Redfin is going now. Their mission used to be to "reinvent real estate" but more & more they're just a traditional real estate brokerage with a slick website.
I really believed I'd work at Redfin until I retired. I loved my job, believed in the company, & had great coworkers, but it was all sacrificed by some executive in order to appease the gods of capitalism. 👎
