Every year around this time I like to revisit a brilliant article from 2014, I think from Deadspin, about how the NFL will never again hold the Super Bowl in NY because literally nobody here gave a shit about it the one time they tried it. Instead of being the main event like it would be anywhere else, here it was just a damned annoyance.
Sadly, I can no longer find the article on the enshittified web. It's too bad - it was a good one.
