The problem like with many other things is not so much if it helps are not. The problem is that the choice is taken by government and not the individual.

That not only limits your freedom but governments may be making choices that benefit their budgets more then they do you (the IQ impact could be a price they are willing to make you pay)

And why stop at fluoride, why not add vitamins, why not add other chemicals that may help in some way? I am not government property.

And even though I live in Europe, I never drink tapwater (because it is full of hormones they can't filter out).
