i liked houseki no kuni and hi score girl, but with those, i can understand why someone would rather read the mango and ignore the animu.
however, now it seems people are meme-ing themselves out of great shows like girls band cry and bang dream because of something superficial. then using arguments that would've made more sense 10 years ago.
(naturally when a show is based on action and randomly has 3DCG thrown in, i hate it)
at the end of the day, i think 3dcg is cringe, but i don't feel as though i can't watch something because of it. in the 3dcg hater's defense, they're better than the retards who think ping pong the animation looks bad
