Is Bitcoin at a bigger risk of a 51% attack than people realize? Has anyone ever checked into AntPool and Foundry (the 2 largest mining pools that could perform a 51% attack)? If most estimates on the # of nodes upholding the Bitcoin network are below 100,000 nodes, wouldn't this allow for a rather easy takeover of 51%+ of the mining power and nodes for a well-resourced group?
