I'm no eco warrior. But lately, I've been asking myself: why the fuck is *everything* wrapped in plastic? I understand that plastic is very durable so for clothes, furniture, shopping bags, fine. Good. No problem. What's the purpose of this throw-it-away immediately shit? How did this happen?
